12th Annual Walsh 5K Saturday Rain or Shine
Registration is still available and proceeds from the 12th Annual 5K benefit the Walsh "Best Buddies" chapter and technology for the middle school.
Walsh Middle School will host its 12th Annual 5K run/walk Saturday.
Proceeds benefit the Walsh “Best Buddies” chapter and technology for the middle school.
The 5K starts at 10 a.m. at Walsh Middle School rain or shine. There will be kids' track events at 11 a.m.
There is still time to register at www.active.com/event_detail.cfm?event_id=2127950 (a processing fee charged online) or same day race registration will begin at 9 a.m. at 301 Brook St.
Registration cost is $25 for participants 18 and older and $15 ofr runners/walkers 17 and under. There is a family maximum of $60 (limit 4 family members).
Registration includes a t-shirt and food (hotdog/hamburger, chips and water) T-shirts are limited and while supplies last.
There will also be raffles for gift baskets, Red Sox tickets, and more on Saturday, May 17.
