2 Finalists Announced for Framingham High Principal

Superintendent of Schools Stacy Scott announced today, June 5 
two finalists for the Framingham High School principal.

Finalists will be spending a full day at the high school meeting with staff, students, and district administrators.

Finalists will also be meeting with community to answer questions on Tuesday, June 10.

The two finalists are Adam Goldberg and Elyse Torbert.

Adam Goldberg has been a leader in educational administration for the past 13 years. Currently the Associate Principal of Lexington High School, he has held the roles of Assistant Principal of Westford Academy for five years, and the Director of Guidance at Weston High School for six years.

A current resident of Framingham whose wife teaches, and children attend, school in the system,  Goldberg is eager to bring his administrative talents to Framingham High School. Goldberg will be meeting with the high school staff and students on June 10

With a Bachelor’s degree in English Education and Mathematics Education from Boston University and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Simmons College, Elyse Torbert has spent the last 16 years in the field of education. After seven years at Newton North High School as English and Math teacher, an Assistant Housemaster, and an alternative Program Director, she has found a home at Framingham High School the past eight years. During that time, she has been a math teacher for three years and a Vice Principal for the past five years. Torbert would like to expand her administrative role in the Framingham Public Schools. She will be meeting with the high school staff and students today, June 5
