2 Principal Finalists Announced For Framingham Elementary School

Parents and community members can meet the two finalists at a forum on Thursday, June 12.

Framingham Superintendent of Schools Stacy Scott announced today  two finalists have been selected for the Stapleton Elementary School Principal Opening.

 “I am eager to meet these two finalists and to receive feedback from staff, administrators, and the community. I was impressed by the many years each candidate has served in public education including three years as an Elementary School principal," said Scott in an email to parents.
 
Community members are invited to meet candidates on Thursday, June 12
 in the Stapleton cafeteria from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The two finalists are Amy Bright and Sara Hosmer.

Bright has 15 years of public education experience. Thirteen years have been in Jacksonville, Florida where she is completing her third year as an elementary principal and has also served two years as an elementary assistant principal, two years as a math and instructional coach, and six years as 4/5 math teacher and coach. Bright has taught one year in Boston public schools and one year in Walpole public schools. 

Hosmer is completing her third year as the principal of the Martin E. Young 
Elementary School in Randolph. Prior to Randolph, she worked in the Boston Public Schools as an administrator and guidance counselor and served seven years in Chelsea as a school social worker. Hosmer’s career in education began in the Baltimore City Public Schools where she was a middle school teacher.
