On Saturday, Framingham Patch reported that more than half of the parents of Cub Scout Pack 12, based out of Plymouth Church under Pack Leader Jim Been, sent a letter to the executive director of Knox Trail Council of Boy Scouts, based in Framingham, stating they have and will continue to ignore the anti-gay policy of Boy Scouts of America.

5. Main Framingham Library will host a free screening of the movie In Transition 2.0 at 7 p.m.  The movie is an inspirational tale of the Transition movement, gathering stories from around the world of ordinary people doing extraordinary things. It features communities growing food, localizing their economies and setting up community power stations. It's a story of hope, ingenuity and the power of growing vegetables in unexpected places. (A trailer to the movie is attached to this report.)

Members of Transition Framingham will be on hand following the screening to answer questions.
