5th Grade Completion Ceremony at Barbieri Elementary

Barbieri Elementary parents and other Framingham Elementary school parents please feel free to email Framingham Patch photos of your child's fifth grade completion and will be publish a slideshow. Email photos to susan.petroni@patch.com

Today is the last day of school for Framingham Public School students.

All week, each of the town's eight elementary schools have been holding completion ceremonies for its fifth graders, who will be moving on to middle school next year.

Each year, Framingham Patch selects one elementary school to attend its completion ceremony. This year, it was Barbieri Elementary on Wednesday morning, June 18.

Barbieri Principal Susan McGilvray-Rivet gave permission for a photographer to attend the completion ceremony earlier this week.

However, as of midnight today, June 20, McGilvray-Rivet and her school had only approved one photograph out of more than 130 which could be published due to privacy issues.

The photo is of two fifth grade students presenting their class gift to the school, which is a Barbieri flag. Special thanks to Cummings Photography for attending the completion ceremony for Framingham Patch.

Patch apologizes that there is not a slideshow, but just one photo.
