Four hours into their meeting, the School Committee thanked Brackett's for his work since January.

for "calling him last December."

Tuesday night, was Hiersche's last School Committee meeting, too. June 29 is both Hiersche's and Brackett's last day in Framingham.

Joe: Andrea is correct above. Brackett was hired in January with a 6-month contract. He recently had retired from Sudbury and agreed to step in for 6 months - out of retirement - as Framingham had lost its assistant to Nantucket. What is not known is if he was asked to stay for another 6-months by the new Superintendent of School - Stacy Scott, but either way Bracket''s last day with Framingham is June 29.

Bob: I agree. I have heard nothing but nice things said about Brackett by the parents, staff, teachers and principals.

Jim: That's a valid point. I can't remember if Scott speaks another language at this time, but will go review my notes from his interviews.
