Assistant Superintendent Brackett Leaving Framingham

Interim Assistant Superintendent of Schools John Brackett will leave Framingham at the end of June completing his 6-month contract.

Framingham School Committee said goodbye to Tuesday night.

Four hours into their meeting, the School Committee thanked Brackett's for his work since January.

School Committee Chair David Miles said Brackett's "attitude" and "demeanor" restored confidence and "injected new spirit" into the curriculum.

Tuesday night, was Hiersche's last School Committee meeting, too. June 29 is both Hiersche's and Brackett's last day in Framingham.

"You will be sorely missed," School Committee Vice Chair Beverly Hugo told Brackett.
