Cameron VP to Serve as Interim Principal at Walsh Middle
Current Walsh Principal Teresa Carney, who lives in Framingham, is leaving to become principal at a middle school in Natick, after 11 years in the district.
Framingham Public Schools has decided to have Cameron Vice Principal Patrick Johnson to serve as interim Walsh Middle School Principal for the 2014-15 school year.
Johnson, who was a vice principal at Walsh for four years, was transferred to Cameron Middle School for the 2013-14 school year.
He will start on July 1.
In May, Superintendent Stacy Scott announced he was "pausing the search" for a new Walsh principal and would name an interim for the 2014-15 school year.
In mid-April, Scott announced 3 finalists for Walsh Middle School.
