Flyers Sprint to Second Place in State's Division 1 Medley Relay

The team set a school record; and the time slightly beats their indoor national time, said boys track coach Chris Collins.

On a cold day in Franklin, the boys outdoor track team sprinted to a second place win in the Division 1 State Relays, said head coach Chris Collins.

In the spring medley relay, Ben Groleau, a senior, started things off in the 800 with a time of 1:57, followed by a pair of fast 200's from Luke Halberstadt (10th grade, 23.6) and Andrew Roschen (11th, 24.2).

Senior Bo Lewis really got the Flyers back in the race and almost caught winner Acton-Boxboro at the end, running a 49.7 anchor in the 400 meter, said Collins.

The high jump relay team captured fourth place.
