Former Walsh Teacher to Be Cameron's New Principal

The new principal will replace Judith Kelley who is retiring after 10 years at Cameron Middle School.

Former Walsh Middle School teacher Michelle Melick will be the new Cameron Middle School Principal.  

Throughout the interview process, Ms. Melick demonstrated her leadership skills
and ability to connect with members of the staff and community.  I am confident of her ability to advance Cameron Middle School," wrote Superintendent Stacy Scott in an email to parents this morning.

Melick is in her seventh year as an Assistant Principal at the Sherwood Middle School in Shrewsbury. She was a Language Arts and Social Studies Teacher at Walsh Middle School for nine years prior to going to Shrewsbury.

Melick obtained her BA in Elementary Education from Westfield State College and her Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from Lesley College.

Melick is a product of the Framingham Public Schools and lives in Sudbury.

Melick was one of two finalists for the principal position.
