UPDATE: Framingham High Drama Company Qualifies for Finals of State Festival

For the 10th time in 12 years, the Framingham High School Drama Company qualified for the finals of the state drama festival.

For the 10th time in 12 years, the Framingham High School Drama Company earned a spot in the Massachusetts Educational Theatre Guild's state drama festival finals.

Framingham High hosted one of the semifinal competitions Saturday, March 15.

They performed The Diviners and qualified for the finals to be held March 27-29.

During the semifinal round the following Framingham High students won awards:

John Llewellyn  for his role of Buddy Layman

Katie Russo for her role of Jennie Mae Layman

Sarah Rosenthal  for her role as a Dulcimer Player 

Andrew DaCosta and Renne Garrahan were honored for lighting design

Kelsey Kilduff  was awarded for stage management
