Hemenway Elementary Collects 322 Pounds of Candy for Operation Gratitude

Hemenway Elementary School students and teachers recently completed a 3-day candy drive, collecting 322 pounds of Halloween Candy for Operation Gratitude.

Hemenway Elementary School students and teachers recently completed a 3-day candy drive, collecting 322 pounds of Halloween Candy for Operation Gratitude.

The candy will be donated to Operation Gratitude and sent to our troops overseas. 

Wayland Dental donated packaging services as well as free toothbrushes and dental kits to all students who donated. 

Marks Moving and Storage donated transportation services to transport the candy to Operation Gratitude in California, from where it will be shipped to U.S. Service Members, said Amy Perlman.
