High School Drama Company Opens Season with Our Town in November

Framingham High School Drama Company announces its 2013-2014 season of performances; tickets already on sale for all shows, including special faculty performances of Godspell.

The Framingham High School Drama Company is offering something for everybody this season and hopes you'll 'be there guest" for one or all of its shows this 2013-14 season,

The Framingham High School Drama Company opens its season with the Thornton Wilder's Our Town. This American Classic play transports the audience to Grover’s Corners in New Hampshire, where the everyday life is seen through the lives of the townspeople from the years 1901-1913. The audience follows two families, the Webb and Gibbs, through daily life, love and marriage and death and eternity in three acts.

Performances are Nov. 15 and 16 at 7:30 p.m.

Directed by Stephanie Henry, tickets are on sale now at www.showtix4u.com. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 night of performance.

New this year, the Framingham High School Drama Company has announced its entire season to the public and tickets are on sale for all shows now. Audience members can select their seats by using www.showtix4u.com.

Also new this year is a musical featuring the faculty of Framingham High School. Faculty (and students) will star in the Stephen Schwartz musical Godspell in January, as a fundraiser for the Drama Company's trip to London in April. Show dates are Jan. 10 and 11. Tickets for the performances are on sale now.

In March, Framingham High School's Drama Company will participate in the 
Massachusetts Educational Theatre Guild Festival for the 12th time. The Company will stage The Diviners. The Company will hold a benefit performance the night before Festival. The show is Feb. 28. Tickets are on sale for this performance.

Finally, the Drama Company invites you to 'Be Their Guest" for the Disney musical Beauty and the Beast in May. Thursday and Sunday show tickets pre-ordered are $12, Friday and saturday tickets pre-ordered are $15 and all tickets at the door will be $18.
