Parents Invited to STEAM Kindergarten Meeting with School Superintendent

Framingham Public Schools will hold a LEAP meeting Monday, Dec. 16 to talk about the new Kindergarten STEAM program proposed for the King Administration Building.

Framingham Public Schools will hold a LEAP meeting Monday, Dec. 16 to talk about the new Kindergarten STEAM program proposed for the King Administration Building.

The 90-minute session begins at 7 in the Desmarais Room at the King Administration Building on Water Street.

Framingham Superintendent of Schools Stacy Scott, Assistant Superintendent Mark Prince Chief Academic Officer Sonia Diaz will lead the discussion and answer parents questions for students entering the class of 2027.

Framingham Public Schools are registered children for kindergarten. Any child who will be age 5 by Aug. 31, 2014 can be registered for the class of 2027, with the district's Parent Information Center.

After online registration is completed, the Parent Information Center will schedule appointments between Jan. 6 and April 4, 2014.
