A survey, designed by a Virginia-based communications firm will launch on Friday, Jan. 24.

The following is a press release from the Framingham Public Schools:

Framingham Public Schools is happy to announce the launch of an exciting
outreach to parents to help guide the design of the academic school year calendar.

The District understands the significant impact of school schedules on student, staff, family and community activities and is committed to the best use of instructural and non-instructional time throughout the school year.

“We value the partnerships we’ve created with our parents and look forward to hearing their perspectives which will help ensure a 2014-2015 academic calendar that reflects our core beliefs in learning, diversity, collegiality and individual responsibility,” said Dr. Scott.

Designed by independent technology and communications firm K12 Insight, the survey will launch on Friday, January 24.

Parents and staff will receive email invitations to participate and the survey will
also be available via a public link on the district’s website at www.framingham.k12.ma.us.
