SLIDESHOW: Back-to-School Carnival at Brophy Elementary

The event was a fundraiser for the Brophy Elementary School's 5th grade class.

Brophy Elementary School held a carnival a couple of days before school started last week.

New and returning families to the K-5 school were invited to attend the Monday night event. The event was the perfect opportunity for kindergarten families to meet teachers and ask questions. Kindergarten students start school on Tuesday, Sept. 3.

Activities included a dunk tank, bounce house, Snowie Bus (snow cones), face painting, soccer and flag football clinics.

There was a small fee to participate in activities and purchase food, as the event was a fundraiser for the Brophy Elementary School's 5th grade class.

Special thanks to the Brophy Elementary PTO and Brophy parent Denise Lau for this slideshow of photos!

Editor's Note: With more than a dozen Framingham Public Schools plus private, charter and religious schools in town, I unfortunately can not attend all the fabulous events schools and PTOs have planned for the 2013-14 calendar year.

Please do email me (susanpetroni@patch.com) for coverage, but if I or someone else can not attend representing Framingham Patch, we encourage submissions of photos like this slideshow.
