SLIDESHOW: Framingham High Drama Company Staged Godspell

Framingham High School Drama Company presented two shows of Godspell last weekend.

The production, directed by Donna Wresinski, was a fundraiser for the members of the company traveling to London in the spring of 2014.

Framingham High drama teacher Christ Brindley had the lead role of Jesus.

History teacher Aaron Coleman has the dual role of John the Baptist and Judas.

Based on the Gospel According to St Matthew, the musical tells the story of the last seven days of Christ's life.

Other faculty cast members included Laura Beck, Joanne Connolly, Ali Courchesne, Aimee Delaporta, Peter Eliot, Kate Giffune, Jan Graham, Stephanie Henry, Carra Herron, Mark Morabito, Chris Ocampo and Carol Virdinlia.

Students of the Framingham H.S. Drama Company also appeared the production in the ensemble.

Featuring a sparkling score by Stephen Schwartz, Godspell  best known song is Day By Day.

As the cast performs Learn Your Lessons Well, All For The Best, All Good Gifts, Turn Back, O Man and By My Side, the parables of Jesus Christ come humanly and hearteningly to life.

The show featured many surprise lines referencing Framingham High.

Special thanks to Charlie Pasewark of Photography in Motion in Framingham for photographing Saturday's performance for Framingham Patch.
