Eighth grade students at St. Bridget School held an international dinner last month.
This year's theme was Brazil. Students took part in all aspects of the dinner from decorating the hall to preparing the meal.
It took a combination of five weeks of work to create the drawing and painting the murals that decorated the school hall, creating a slide show of the interesting sights of Brazil, and preparing the menu.
Over a hundred people filled the hall, where they were served by the grade eight students.
The menu included Brazilian cheese bread, a seasoned peach chicken dish, beef and bacon skewers, pork and black bean stew, Brazilian citrus bananas, Brigadeiro (chocolate coconut dessert), and Brazilian coffee cookies.
