Stanley Cup a Winner for Team Tramiris

Last night, the Bruins won the Stanley Cup in game 7.

Overall, in a about a week's time, Team Tramiris was able to raise $30,000 for , 9, and his mother Nicole.

The fundraising event was held at the Framingham Elks, and was attended by family, friends of Tramiris and members of the community who had never even met the outgoing, athletic boy.

Almost 1,500 tickets at $20 each were sold for the raffle.  Patty and Roger Dilbarian from the Framingham Football & Cheer program generously offered the tickets to benefit a fund to be set up in Tramiris' name. The seats were in section 19, with a face value of $190 each. The market value was more than $750 each.

Besides the Stanley Cup ticket raffle, $604 was raised by Framingham Lacrosse, which raffled off a grill. Weston Lacrosse donated $500. 

Other donations came in from people as far away as California and Texas (power of Facebook, Internet and Framingham Patch).

Last Friday at the Framingham Youth Football Meet and Greet night hot dogs and drinks  sold raised another $402 for the Tramiris Anthony Fund.
