Second Place Finish Qualifies 7th Grade Squad for Regionals

The Flyers finished in second place at the Bay State League Cheerleading Competition.

By finishing second in the Bay State League competition, the Framingham Youth Football & Cheerleading (FYFC) seventh grade squad qualified for the New England Regional Cheerleading Competition.

The Flyers will compete Saturday, Nov. 23 in Hartford, Conn.

If they finish in first place Saturday, they qualify for the national cheerleading competition in Florida the second week of December.

The Framingham Flyers finished in second place behind Walpole at the Bay State competition in Lowell in October.

The team is under the direction of head coach Patricia Ackerley, with assistant coaches Jayne Penrod, Melissa Power and Jodi Tognacci. Heather Connolly is the FYFC cheerleading coordinator.
