Back-To-Back Titles for Undefeated Astros

In winning the 2014 World Series title, the Astros was the first team in Framingham Baseball league Babe Ruth history to complete their season undefeated.

The Astros repeated as World Series Champions in the Babe Ruth League in Framingham this past weekend.

On Saturday night, the Astros defeated the Orioles by winning their second game in a 3-game series.

The victory meant the Astros became the first team in Framingham Baseball League Babe Ruth history to complete their season in undefeated fashion, although one game did end in a tie; which was against this same Orioles team.

Astros’ coaches Joel Kornbleit, Aldo Vidrich and Allen Grome kept the team focused throughout the season, by setting goals, teaching game fundamentals and always encouraging players to strive for improvement.

Members of the Astros are: Nick Aivazian, Tyler Anes, Francis Botte, Brendan Cytulik, Chris Grome, Ryan Nutt, Jeff Oberg, Evan Pasewark, Alex Piselli, Nick Piselli, Ari Salinger, Christian Seariac and Patrick Watton.
