Bowditch To Host International Soccer Match with Cruzeiro

Bowditch Field will be hosting a friendly international soccer match between Cruzeiro and Miami-Dade on Sunday, June 22.

Cruzeiro is one of Brazil's most accomplished soccer clubs, founded in 1921.

The club typically plays in the Campeonato Mineiro, of the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais, and the Brasileirão, the top tier of the Brazilian football league system. Cruzeiro is the reigning Brazilian and Mineiro champions.

The match is sponsored by New Creations Sporting Group, announced the Framingham Parks and Recreation Department on Thursday.

Match will start at 3 p.m., with gates opening at 2 p.m.

Parking for the event will take place offsite at satellite lots with complementary shuttles to and from Bowditch.

Tickets for the match can be purchased at www.ticketweb.com and are $45 for children 12 and under and $65 for adults. No tickets will be sold on site prior to, or day of event.
