Framingham Flyer Eric Mellusi Named Field MVP at State Coaches Meet

Framingham High senior captain Luke Halberstadt ran a personal best split in the 4X400 relay at the state coaches meet Saturday, May 10.

In the state coaches track meet on Saturday, Framingham High senior captain Eric Mellusi was named the field event MVP said Framingham High head boys coach Chris Collins.

Mellusi won the discus event with a throw of 162-feet, 2-inches and finished second in the shot put with a throw of 49-feet, 11-inches.

The Framingham High 4x100 relay qualified for states easily, besting the 'previous yearly best by almost 2 full seconds, said Collins.
 
The team of Chris Elliott, George Atupem, Tiago Torres and senior captain Luke Halberstadt ran 45.77 seconds.

Halberstadt also ran a personal best in the 4x400 relay shortly afterwards, with a 52.3 split, said Collins.
