Jensine Rich, a Framingham High School graduate, will return to the sidelines at Gillette Stadium this fall to cheer on the New England Patriots.

Rich, who now lives in Woburn, is one of 28 women named to the 2014 New England Patriots cheerleading squad.

She is one of 17 veterans returning to the squad. She first made it in 2013.

Rich earned her bachelors and masters degrees from the University of New Hampshire in family studies and early childhood special education.

She is currently employed by Criterion Child Enrichment as a developmental specialist.

When Rich is not working, you can find her trying new healthy recipes in the kitchen, or taking relaxing runs with her dog, Nutmeg.

The 2014 28-member squad was chosen from approximately 320 applications submitted during the open audition period in early April.

The final step of the audition process, a two-week boot camp which concluded May 3, included intensive training sessions involving rigorous fitness and physical training, choreography, public speaking exercises and promotional appearance training drills.

The 2014 Patriots cheerleading squad rehearses twice a week and performs at all Patriots home games.

In addition to performing in front of nearly 70,000 fans, a spot on the squad can provide many exciting and unique opportunities.

The cheerleaders travel to an exotic location in the spring for the Patriots Cheerleaders Swimsuit Calendar shoot, with this year’s trip set to take place in June in Cancun, Mexico.

Patriots Cheerleaders have also visited deployed military troops in more than 25 countries.
