The Rams tied the score in the bottom of the fifth on an RBI single by senior Alyssa Begin  that scored freshman Tiffanie Marsh, who had reached on an error and advanced to third on a second error. Phillips put the Rams on top for good with a single to right.  The Rams took advantage of another error on a throw down to second on a steal attempt for their third run of the inning.  Belliveau followed with an RBI single putting the Rams up 5-2 after five.
