FSU Women’s Cross Country Comes Home 39th at ECAC Division III Championships

Sophomore Emma Hazen of Framingham clocked a 263rd-place 29:26.99.

The Framingham State University women’s cross country team placed 39th at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Championships hosted by Roger Williams on Saturday at Colt State Park. 

Middlebury took the team title with 30 points.

Junior Janet Brady led Framingham State with a time of 25:46.54 for 126th-place as freshman Courtney Torres crossed the finish line 200th (27:25.67) while sophomore Fiona Coughlan was 244th (28:41.90).

Sophomore Emma Hazen of Framingham clocked a 263rd-place 29:26.99 and was followed by Jillian Preman in 281st (30:25.22). Rookie Kayleigh Laughlin  completed her race 283rd (30:31.92) and sophomore Philomena Nessralla was 306th (31:52.43).

The Rams hit the road for Gorham, Maine, for the second time in three weeks, on Saturday to take part in the NCAA Division III New England Regionals hosted by Southern Maine.
