Jackie Robinson's Daughter To Discuss Her Dad at Framingham State

Sharon Robinson will discuss the struggles Jackie Robinson endured and the triumphs that he achieved in a special lecture on Monday, Feb. 3.

The public is invited to hear about the extraordinary life of Jackie Robinson, the first African-American to play Major League Baseball at a special event at Framingham State University Monday, Feb. 3 at 7 p.m. in the Dwight Performing
Arts Center on the campus of Framingham State University.

Sharon Robinson will discuss the struggles he endured and the triumphs that he achieved in a special lecture, sponsored by the University's office of Multicultural Affairs, the office of Residence Life, the Athletics Department and the office of First-Year Programs.

She will also tell us of the family man that he was during unsettling times in America when race relations were at the forefront of everyone's mind.
