Kalamu Jumped to Fifth Place at State Meet

Summary of day one at the state meet for the Framingham Flyers.

On day one of the Massachusetts Coaches Meet, Framingham track captain Emmanuel Kalamu high-jumped 5-feet, 11-inches to tie for fifth place.

The senior also ran "a very solid 8.52 seconds" in the 55 meter hurdles, said his Framingham High Head coach Chris Collins
 
Collins said sophomore Kevin Scranton took almost a full second off of his personal best while running a 38.56 in the 300 meter.

And "sophomore Mikey McDonald ran a 4:44.50, setting a personal best record by 6 seconds under the guidance of Coach McKenzie," said Collins.
