UMass Dartmouth Drives Over Framingham State For 14-3 Lacrosse Win

With the loss, the Framingham State women's lacrosse team is now 2-7.

With the loss, the Rams fall to 2-7.

Corsano and sophomore Colleen Kane led the Corsair offense with five points apiece in the game. Kane poured in four markers, three in the second half, to go along with an assist, while freshman Catrina Longo of Billerica  and classmate Jessica Miles of Lynnfield chipped in with three and two goals respectively.

The Rams got on the board first just over three minutes into the contest as freshman Amy Rotger of Revere hit classmate Jessica Graham of Woburn with a pass and Graham found the back of the net for her 11th marker of the season.

It was all UMass Dartmouth after that as they outscored the Rams 7-0 for the remainder of the stanza.  Click here to read more about the game.

UMass Dartmouth outshot the Rams 23-20 in the game and held a 15-11 edge in ground balls.  Freshmen Leah Wilkinson and Nicole Butts of Milford combined for the victory in net for the Corsairs.  

Sophomore Alysha Cericola of Waltham was tagged with the loss for the Rams despite making six saves.

The Rams return to action on Thursday with a non-conference game at Regis at 6 p.m.
