UPDATE: Boston Celtic Vitor Faverani To Reschedule Appearance with Framingham Radio Station

The Boston Celtic basketball player, and Brazilian native, will be interviewed on Voz do Brazil with Leandro Alves today at Framingham radio station WSRO 650 AM.

UPDATE: 2:45 p.m. The Celtics star could not make his appearance with the Framingham Brazilian radio station today. WSRO 650 said Vitor Faverani does plan to reschedule at a later date.


Framingham radio station WSRO 650 AM is hosting a meet & greet with Boston Celtic Vitor Faverani today, April 7.

Faverani, who signed with the Boston Celtics last July, however is out for the season, having undergone arthroscopic surgery on his left knee to repair a torn lateral meniscus a month ago on March 7.

The 6-foot, 11-inch Brazilian native, started his pro career in 2005. Prior to signing with the Celtics, he play for the Brazilian national team and played professional basketball in Spain.

Faverani, 25, will be interviewed on Voz do Brazil with Leandro Alves this afternoon at the radio station from 3 to 4 p.m.

After the interview (about 4 p.m.), Faverani will spend the afternoon, at the station, signing autographs and posing for photos. The public is invited to attend.
