AAA: Gas Prices Down for 11th Straight Week

Gas prices in Massachusetts range from $3.21 to $3.65, says AAA.

Gasoline prices in Massachusetts are down one cent this week, the 11th consecutive week of decreases, according to , which has an office in Framingham.

AAA’s July 2 survey of prices in Massachusetts found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $3.369 per gallon, one cent less than a week ago.

Prices locally are now 53 cents less than the peak gas prices seen in the April 16 survey.

The current price is four cents above than the national average for self serve unleaded of $3.32. A year ago at this time the Massachusetts average price was $3.61.

The range in prices in the latest AAA survey for unleaded regular is 44 cents, from a low of $3.21 to a high of $3.65.
