For the 7th year in a row, the opening ceremonies of the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure® was held at Farm Pond in Framingham.

Opening ceremonies for the Susan G. Komen 3-Day 60 mile walk to raise money for breast cancer began at Farm Pond Park Friday morning at 6:30.

Thanks to Charlie Pasewark of Photography in Motion for shooting this slide show for Framingham Patch.

Of the thousands participating in this week's event, some are there in support of friends & loved ones who have survived the disease, others participate to support those that are battling the disease and many more are walking in memory of those who have lost their battle.
