Lake Waushakum beach is closed for the rest of today, July 17, and will be closed tomorrow, July 18 until at least noon.

Framingham Parks & Recreation Department said the beach failed a water quality test.

Results of a new test are expected Friday before noon.

If the water quality has improved the beach will open from from noon to 7 p.m. on Friday.

The town's two other beaches Learneds Pond and Saxonville beach are open and have no water quality issues.
