Framingham Town Officials Hit the Runway for Fashion Show to Benefit Library Foundation

What do some of Framingham's middle school principals, School Committee members, library trustees, and the director of the downtown renaissance organization have in common?

They'll all be models in Spring Forward With Style, a fashion show to benefit the Framingham Public Library Foundation.

It will be held at the main Framingham Library on Saturday, May 31 at 2 p.m., and includes an afternoon tea with hot and cold drinks, tea sandwiches, and desserts to savor during the show.

Fashions by designer Carol Anderson of Carol Anderson By Invitation Only (cabionline.com) will be featured, and 10% of the sales proceeds for pieces from the collection ordered at the event will be donated to the foundation.

Tickets are $20 and available at the main library and the McAuliffe branch on Nicholas Road, for this special event sponsored by the Homework Center at the Framingham Public Library.

Stepping out of their everyday leadership roles and on to the runway, the models will be strutting their stuff for a good cause, as the foundation continues its effort to raise funds for the new McAuliffe branch library on Water Street, which will begin construction this summer.
