Middlesex Sheriff Speaks to Framingham Rotary Club

Koutoujian discussed the roles the Middlesex Sheriff's Office SWAT team and Special Operations Unit played in the response to the Boston Marathon attack and the subsequent suspect search in Watertown.

Middlesex Sheriff Peter J. Koutoujian was in Framingham Monday to address members of the Rotary Club during their regular weekly meeting. 

“I want to thank the Rotary Club for allowing me to speak about the great work of the Middlesex  Sheriff’s Office,” said Koutoujian.  “I am extremely proud of the work our uniformed and civilian personnel do on a daily basis.”

Koutoujian discussed several topics with the Rotarians including the roles the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office SWAT team and Special Operations Unit played in the response to the Boston Marathon attack and the subsequent suspect search in Watertown. 

He also talked about programming for the public and inmates, as well as the history of the Office, which was established in 1692.
