Pearl Street Cafe Adding Thursday Night Meal, Due to Demand

Due to an increase in demand, the Pearl Street Cafe will be offering meal service on Thursdays from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., starting tonight, July 25.

Run by the United Way of Tri-County, 20 volunteers will be serving individuals and families hot dogs and hamburgers, beverages and a dessert tonight.

The Pearl Street Cafe & Cupboard has been serving hot meals on Tuesday nights only, until today.

The Cafe &cupboard's mission is "to provide hunger relief, improve the quality of life, and connect families and neighbors in need to essential services in our community."
