EDITOR'S PICKS: 3 Things To Do Today June 8 in Framingham

Benefit car wash, final performance of Shrek the Musical and a performance of Scottish Music at Amazing Things all featured in today's column.

Below are my editor's picks for things to do today, Sunday, June 8:

  • Shrek The Musical: Today is the final performance of Shrek the Musical by the Performing Arts Center of MetroWest. Featuring a cast of students in grades 3-12, today's show is 3 p.m. at the Dennison Memorial Hall at the Boston Church of Christ, 214 Concord St. in Framingham. Advanced Tickets are $16 for adults, $14 for seniors and youth. Tickets will be $2 more at the door. Tickets available by calling (508) 875-5554 or by visiting www.pacmetrowest.org and ordering online.
  • Benefit Car Wash: The Interact Club of Fuller Middle School will hold a car wash today at Middlesex Bank at 598 Worchester Rd. from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. A donation of $8 is appreciated. All monies raised will be donated to the Pearl Street Cupboard.
  • Scottish Entertainment: North Sea Gas will take the stage at Amazing Things Arts Center at 7 p.m. One of Scotland's most popular and enduring bands, "North Sea Gas" formed over 30 years ago and is still continually traveling the world bringing their brand of Scottish traditional, contemporary and self-penned music to the people.
