Editor's Picks: 5 Things To Do Today Saturday, March 22

Boy Scout Troop 12's Annual Pancake Breakfast; Boy Scout Troop 78's can & bottle drive; Shrek, chorus and opera performance at library; and BOGO deal today only at Chipotle for New England Revolution fans.

Below are my editor's picks for things to do today, Saturday, March 22:

  • Pancakes:  This morning is the 33rd Annual Framingham Boy Scout Troop 12's Pancake Breakfast Extravaganza. Tickets may be purchased at the door for the all-you-can eat event. $4 adults and $3 for seniors and children under age 11. Menu includes: pancakes, ham, sausage, juice and hot coffee. The event is 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Plymouth Church.
  • Shrek, Chorus & Opera: The Performing Arts Center of MetroWest Children’s Chorus, the cast of Shrek and two singers from the Opera Workshop will stage a free performance today at the Costin Room in the main Framingham Public Library from 3 to 4 p.m.
  • Saturday Night Music: Steve McGoven takes to the stage at 9 at Nobscot's Cafe. No cover.
  • Can & Bottle Drive:  Framingham Boy Scout Troop 78 will hold a can and bottle drive today at Stop & Shop, Old Conn Path from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and at Stop & Shop, on Temple Street, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Chipotle Revolution: Chipotle Mexican Grill is a sponsor of the Major League Soccer and the New England Revolution! Today, the day the New England Revolution kick off its 2014 MLS campaign, fans wearing Revolution gear can get a buy-one-get-one (burritos, bowls, tacos or salads) at the Chipotle at Shoppers World in Framingham. This deal is good only for Saturday, March 22; limit one free item per customer.
