Carmel Terrace, at 933 Central St., and its residents who are veterans, will host a Smile Show today at 2 p.m. to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.

Many weekends there are more things to do in Framingham than hours in the day, so below are my editor's picks for things to do today, Nov. 10

Feel free to add events you think are worthy in the comment box below or post a event in the Framingham Patch calendar.

Sunday:

  • SMILE Show to Benefit Wounded Warrior Project: Carmel Terrace, at 933 Central St., and its residents who are veterans, will host a Smile Show today at 2 p.m. to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. Singer and comedianLarry Lee Lewis will perform a Henny Youngman/Rodney Dangerfield style comedy and classic songs from the 1950s and ‘60s. Suggested donation is $10. Proceeds will benefit the Wounded Warrior project. The public is invited.
  • AYF Championships: Framingham Youth Football & Cheerleading is hosting the American Youth Football Massachusetts State Championships at Bowditch Field in Framingham today. Chris Connolly will be singing the national anthem at 10 a.m. Unfortunately, none of the FYFC teams are in the championships this year. The seventh grade team lost in the semifinals last week.
  • Watch the Jim Pillsbury LIVE on AF-TV: Jim Pillsbury Live show tonight at 6 will focus on Veterans Day and on services available to veterans when they return home.  Joining Jim on the show will be  Bob Haarde and Brendan Mahoney from Sudbury for Wounded Warriors, and also Kevin Fields from Framingham State University to talk about its new intern program for Veterans.  It airs on Comcast Channel 9, RCN Channel 3, and Verizon Channel 43 in Framingham.
