Editor's Picks: Holy Smokes Batman, Ghostbuster in Framingham

Many weekends there are more things to do in Framingham than hours in the day, so below are my editor's picks for things to do today, Sunday, Nov. 24. 


SUNDAY: 

  • Super MegaFest: This one-of-a-kind fan event takes place today 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Sheraton Framingham Hotel. Stars expected to be attendance include Christopher Lloyd, best known for his role of Doc Brown from Back to the Future movies, Tom Felton, best known for his role of Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter film series, Eliza Dushku, best know for her role of Faith on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and its spinoff series Angel, John Heder, best known for the movie Napoleon Dynamite, Mia St. John, five-time World Boxing Champion and Carroll Spinney, the voice of Big Bird and Oscar and so many more. Tickets at the door are $25 per day for adults and $7 per day children under age 12.
  • Chorale Performance: The world-renowned Zamir Chorale 
    performs music spanning the many generations and geographies of Jewish life at Temple Beth Sholom at the Framingham temple celebrates its golden anniversary. Show is at 3 p.m. Doors open at 2:30 p.m. Tickets $25 adults and $15 children (cash only) at door.
  • You Are There in the Back Row Concert: Steve 
    SanSoucie takes the stage at Amazing Things Arts Center at 7. Tickets are $18, $17 admission for seniors and students and $15 for members.
  • Classical Performance at the Library: Cellist Sarah Ellison and Violinist Julie McKenzie in a one-hour program featuring the music of Handel, Bach and Biber at the main Framingham Library. These talented artists are members of Boston Baroque and The Handel and Haydn Society. Performance starts at 3. Doors open at 2.30 p.m. The performance is sponsored by The Metro Credit Union, The Framingham Cultural Council
    and The Friends of the Framingham Library.
