EDITOR'S PICKS: Multicultual Night at Barbieri; Texas Hold 'Em Tourney At Temple

Below are my editor's picks for things to do today, Sunday, Jan. 26. 

  • Multicultural Night: Barbieri Elementary School is holding its annual Multicultural Night from 3 to 5 p.m. This year's theme is Spain. The mosaic mural, that the artist in residence helped create with students, will be formally unveiled today too.
  • Texas Hold 'em Tourney at Temple: The Temple Beth Am Brotherhood is holding a Texas Hold-em Tournament fundraiser today. Registration starts at 3:30. Tourney starts at 4 p.m. Seating limited to 96 players. To reserve a spot call 508-788-9225 or email ensolomont@gmail.com. Cost to play.
  • FAFSA DAY: FAFSA provides free guidance for completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Students, parents and adult learners who want help applying for college financial aid for the 2014-2015 academic year should attend the event today at Framingham High School at 1 p.m..  to register for the event visit www.fafsaday.org
  • REIKI OPEN HOUSE: today from 3 to 6 p.m. at 79 Main St. Stop in and tell them Patch sent you.
