  • Beyond The Garden:   This is the final weekend for Framingham artist Nan Hass Feldman's one-woman show at Fountain Street Fine Art. The gallery is open today from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Inspiration for her paintings comes from the artist’s recent experiences on the Greek island of Skopelos and in the jungle area of Boca de Tomatlan, Mexico. Her paintings evoke a child-like joy, and yet a more sophisticated appreciation of the possibilities of seeing a subject endlessly – through vibrant color, pattern, texture, and imagination. Feldman’s paintings, whether oil, acrylic, or mixed media, are stylized, yet recognizable, and vibrantly colorful. Often intricate, playful, enlivening and upbeat, her work focuses on the subjects of interiors and landscapes.
  • Seize the Dream Gala: Tonight is the Jewish Family Services of MetroWest annual Seize the Dream Gala at the Sheraton in Framingham. The event, which features a silent auction, dinner and desserts, starts at 5:30 p.m.
