Marian Homecoming Football Saturday and Marching Band Festival Sunday

Editor's picks for things to do this weekend in Framingham.

Many weekends there are more things to do in Framingham than hours in the day, so below are my picks for things to do this long Columbus Day weekend.

Friday: 

  • Cheer on the Flyers to victory: Two winless teams will battle at Bowditch Field tonight. Framingham High is hosting Brookline High in football at 7 p.m.

Saturday: 
  • Homecoming:  Marian High football will host Matignon at 7 at Bowditch Field. During the Homecoming game, the King and Queen will be introduced and senior Fall athletes, will be honored, along with their parents.
  • Scavenger Hunt: Outdoors RX is hosting a free family scavenger hunt at Cushing memorial Park at 10 a.m.

Sunday: 
  • Marching Band Festival: Framingham High will host the New England Scholastic Band Association's Marching Band Fall Festival from 1-4 p.m. at Bowditch Field. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students. Click here for additional details.
