The Olympics start next month, but you can catch some American Olympic hopefuls at the TD Garden through the weekend. The U.S Figure Skating Championships are back in Boston, and tickets are still available.

Local hopefuls Yasmin Siraj, Alex Shibutani, Alexandria Shaughnessy and Jimmy Morgan will take on the nation's best over the four days of events.

Thursday will feature the opening ceremony, pairs short program and women's short program. The men's short program starts a day later, according to the official schedule.

Women's skater Gracie Gold practiced at Loring Arena in Framingham on Tuesday. Gold, who was born in Newton, was the 2013 U.S. national silver medalist. You can watch her practice session, by clicking this link.

Winning the U.S. championship is itself a great achievement, but skaters are also competing for a chance to compete in Sochi, Russia next month.

Taking the T is always a good option when heading to the Garden. If you do have to drive, there's discounted parking available nearby.
