I recently visited this guy's booth at an outdoor public event (Brimfield, Sept '13). Again, this event was OUTDOOR and FREE to the public. Anyway, while under the "Wex Rex" tent I noticed some items that a nearby friend would find interesting... and would surely be willing to PAY MONEY for. So I did what has become customary at such events, grabbed my phone and took a snapshot. In that instant the guy went from completely ignoring me to barking at me for not having his permission to take pictures and making wild accusations about my intentions. Again, this was a public event, visible to anyone traveling on Rout 20 (aka Main Street) through Brimfield, MA. I could have understood his concerns if he was selling original art or handmade items, but we're talking mass-produced, mid-90s Star Trek toys. And I was trying to get him an actual S-A-L-E. Give me a break. I'm guessing he is either extremely pretentious, or just insecure about his pricing. It's no wonder that his tent was empty for most of the day. I could have done him some business had he been reasonable but instead I'm warning folks to stay away. In the course of the incident I recognized the seller from the previous Brimfield in July where he was talking up a huge game, discrediting items that others had brought in while hyping up his own inventory and generally taking advantage of novice collectors. Don't bother dealing with this con artist. you can get the same stuff on ebay for half the cost, and avoid the horrible personality altogether.
