On Labor Day weekend,my mom ordered a wall bed from Boston Wallbeds/now owned by Boston Bed.It was to be delivered and installed between 10/1&10/15. She called to schedule delivery and repeatedly was told by 5 different people that the bed wasn't ready for 5 different reasons. No record of prior calls were referenced.They often didn't answer the phone and only once did she receive a call back - this from Andrew the owner. Excuses: The tsunami in Japan meant no parts,The hinge machine broke so they're being hand made.Handles aren't in.On 12/1 she was advised to threaten them with a complaint with the Atty General's Office, that if she didn't receive the bed by 12/8. She finally got the bed on 12/6, but the installer said he didn't have time to install it. She said this was unacceptable.He promised to phone back on 12/8, but didn't until late in the day when he picked up the message from the Atty General's Office. He DID install the bed on 12/10.Beautiful, but aggravating! NO customer service! Shop elsewhere or buy direct from the mfr.
