The Developers Diversified Realty Corp. owns and manages the Shoppers World shopping plaza which is located at the Framingham/Natick border along Worcester Road (Route 9). It opened in 1995. Shoppers World is a large, open-air shopping complex with many brand-name outlets including Best Buy, Marshalls, Nordstrom Rack and more. There are also several restaurants, including TGI Fridays and John Harvard's. There is plenty of free parking.

Originally formed in the 1960s, the publicly traded Developers Diversified Realty Corp. is based in Ohio and owns retail centers around the country.  It supports local community organizations through its corporate giving programs.
