The most disappointing experience I have in many years. Came there to downsize fur jacket, they took my phone#, said I would have to wait,….after 7 weeks (Holidays, them was sick) I called them myself to find out it was done (when it was actually ready for pick up and why they didn’t call - mystery. But the worst was still to come.
To minimize cost, I asked them not to downsize the lining, thought it wouldn’t be a problem to have lining bigger then jacket, so they write down “Leave lining - do not downsize”. OK, to make story short, when I came to pick up my jacket I found ALL my lining separated from the jacket and in numerous pieces, holding on 3 pins!! They said, that what we’d agreed upon, that “Leave lining” - means they were not to put it back, and that for additional cost they would be happy to do this “enormous job”.
I tried to argue a little, but felt so disgusted, that took what was left and left, came home after work, spent about 3 hours doing this “enormous, complicated (sure very expensive) job” of putting it all back together -
Thanks God - I’m not bad in tailoring. Not only lining was in pieces, they separate part of the fur collar from the coat, Why? For all the money I paid!?!? And it was a lot.
So, if you go there take your lawyer to look over the papers and as I witness.
