Use to be a great place for fun times through civic organizations that rented the place until the Brazilians started renting the place and spilling all their booze on the floor. Ruined the floor and caused havoc with the maintenance. NOW nobody can rent the place unless it is a booze free event.
The Selectpersons say the Nevins hall is a place for our seat of Government and it should be treated respectfully and that events there show that. Where were they the night the Brazilians showed the movie
"A Fronteria" about the illegals crossing the border, and there was a graphic rape scene which was watched by children in the audience.
The Rizoli's and CCFIILE protested vigorously. The next night a warning was put up saying NO CHILDREN under 14 years of age admitted. Where was the respect for the seat of Government then?
Movies depicting RAPE SCENES, what's next?
