A factoid here.
When we were kids you were able to walk from Concord St, at Elizabeth Circle, up the hill right where that brown house is on the corner of Elizabeth Circle and Concord St, ( that brown house used to be ACROSS the street as part of a gas station, where that Clothes Cleaner business is now, it was moved years ago, ) What has happened is a violation of the right of way clause established by the original owners of that Jordan Mansion In the Elizabeth circle area for that hill. The residents have put piles of dirt and fencing over the path making it practically impossible to walk to Learneds pond beach from Concord St. This is in violation of the perpetual walking rights to that hill in the deed to that land. Ask Ginger Esty's about it. I did a video taping years ago with Ginger and her mother when she was alive and we talked about that area. Very interesting. No houses can ever be built on that hill.
