Welcome Indian Cuisine
508-370-9977
Welcome Indian Cuisine may look unadorned from the exterior, but then again, it's really the food that counts, not a fancy neon sign. Once inside, customers are greeted to the many aromas of Indian cooking because the kitchen is just steps away from your table. Diners can enjoy vegetarian and non-vegetarian cooking with complete dinners for one or two, hot (vegetable samosa, paneer pakoras or the chef's combination platter) or cold (aloo papri, chicken or shrimp chaat) appetizers, soups (mulligatawny, nariyal), tandoori specialties, rice specialties, and a variety of chicken, lamb, beef, seafood, and vegetarian entrees. Welcome India also has Indian breads (13 kinds), desserts (rasmaliai, gulab jamun, badami or kheer) and beverages (lassi, mango lassi or masala tea). Owner and executive chef Gurjit Singh also creates a northern India-style lunch buffet.
